It all started in Philadelphia on Saint Patrick’s Day.  After many long conversations, Megan and Patrick found out they had a lot in common.  They both loved Top Chef and cooking. They also love to visit breweries and drink craft beer. They both had the same passion and commitment to social justice issues like human rights and poverty.  Very importantly, Meagan has a dog Galileo who Patrick loves!

After they had been dating a while, they decided to move to Nashville, TN for some career opportunities.  They were both hired by the same Charter school, RePublic of Nashville.  Meagan as Dean of Operations and Patrick as a High School Math teacher.  They found an apartment in Germantown and called Nashville their home. Patrick took Meagan on a trip to Indianapolis to introduce her to the Midwest and show her is hometown.  It was there at the Botanical Garden of Indianapolis that Patrick proposed to her. Meagan immediately accepted.
